Remember important care
Keep routines, notes and key details in one calm place.
Our Story
Chase came into our family when our two sons were still young boys. He grew up alongside them—part companion, part little brother and always a deeply loved member of our family.
Today, Chase is considered a senior dog, and those young boys are now college graduates living on their own. They still spend time with him and help care for him, but they are no longer around every day to automatically know his current medications, routines and care instructions.

A family growing together
As Chase got older, we realized how easy it was for important details to become scattered. Monthly heartworm prevention and other care that did not happen every day could be difficult to remember. Even when someone gave him his medication, the rest of the family might not know who gave it—or when the next dose was due.
“The problem was never a lack of love. It was that several people loved and cared for the same dog, while the most current information often lived in one person's memory.”
That experience inspired Pet Dossier: one organized place to keep a dog's care information current, remember important routines and share clear instructions with the people trusted to help. Whether care stays within the family or is handed to a sitter, friend or boarding provider, everyone can work from the same up-to-date information.
Keep routines, notes and key details in one calm place.
Track updates so everyone caring for your dog stays informed.
Give trusted family, sitters and caregivers clear, secure access.
Our community
Giving back has been part of our family's story for many years, including our ongoing support of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Pet Dossier gives us another opportunity to extend that spirit of care by supporting animals in our community.
As Pet Dossier grows, we plan to direct a portion of proceeds to the Animal Protection Society of Durham to help support local animals in need.

Pet Dossier began with one very loved dog named Chase—but it was built for every family that wants to care for their dog with a little more confidence, consistency and peace of mind.
