Privacy
Pet Dossier holds what you type in: your dogs, their care details, medications, reminders, vet visit briefs and any photos or documents you upload. That is all.
Who can see it
Only you and anyone you add to your household. Your information is kept behind your account and is not shown to other members.
Caregiver links
When you share a Care Card or Care Pack, the person you send it to can open a read-only page without an account. The link is a long random code; we store only a scrambled copy of it. You choose what the page shows and when the link expires, and you can turn it off at any moment. Door codes, alarm codes, passwords, financial details and full microchip numbers are never included.
Photos and documents
Photos and medication documents are stored privately and are only reachable through short-lived links created for you. A document uploaded for label reading is deleted right after you review it unless you choose to keep it.
Reading medication labels
When you use EZ Upload, the file is sent to an AI service to be read back to you, and the result is shown for you to check. Nothing is saved to your dog's record until you confirm it. Pet Dossier organizes the information you provide. It does not give veterinary advice and does not replace your veterinarian.
What we do not do
We do not sell your information, we do not advertise inside your account, and we do not send your details to anyone you have not shared a link with.
Deleting things
You can delete a dog, a reminder, a brief or a share link at any time. To close your account entirely, write to hello@mypetdossier.com and we will remove your household.
